Group Classes

Would you like to learn together with other dog owners? Then our group classes are perfect for you!

Social Walk

We’ll go on guided walks together as a group of dogs and experience the walk from the dogs’ exciting perspective. Get to know your dog’s needs and abilities even better and help them continue to grow. We’ll support you and your dog in mastering advanced leash handling and fostering polite behavior in social interactions. Discover the art of the relaxed walk and do something good for yourself and your dog.

This is an open group. This means that participants may change, giving the dogs repeated opportunities to adjust to new social partners. It is not a play or activity session, but an excellent learning platform for you and your dog.

Social Gathering - Natural Social Interaction

In this supervised group session, up to four dogs come together to experience and practice free social interaction and natural communication—under safe, expert supervision.

We create a safe environment where the dogs are allowed to interact off-leash alternating between which dogs are on or off the leash. Safety, fairness, and the well-being of all participants are our top priorities.

The interactions take place alternately with and without a leash—depending on the situation, atmosphere, group dynamics, and individual needs of the participating dogs. We work with the owners to determine when and why a dog should be on or off the leash. There is no guarantee of continuous off-leash play; what matters is the quality of the interaction, not the duration spent off-leash. Throughout the entire session, we actively observe, facilitate, and support: We intervene when necessary and ensure that every encounter remains fair, respectful, and educational. In doing so, we teach knowledge and confidence in handling real-life dog encounters. Together with the owners, we determine when and why it is time to intervene in dog encounters—and how this can be done safely, calmly, and effectively. This benefits both humans and dogs equally: the dogs learn to behave in a socially appropriate manner, and the owners learn to read body language, understand dynamics, and confidently guide their pets. Key Focus Areas: • Strengthening owners’ confidence and observational skills • Building trust and cooperation between humans and dogs • Facilitating harmonious, safe, and respectful interactions in encounter situations • Recognizing, sending, and interpreting calming signals • Understanding the difference between quality play and emerging conflict behavior • Correctly identifying and redirecting displacement behaviors • Recognizing and regulating energy levels Prerequisites: Participation in individual training or an advanced course is recommended as preparation Group size: 3 to a maximum of 5 dogs Duration: approx. 60 minutes Location: Future Dogs (formerly Fröscher) Muttenz / fenced-in area or suitable terrain Price: CHF 40 / 60 min
